The application servers (programming interface, processing, database) and your data are hosted in the European Union. The website is served by a second provider, which stores no account data.

Photos and videos are stored on Cloudflare R2, under the jurisdiction of the European Union (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States). Lives are transmitted by LiveKit Cloud (LiveKit Incorporated, 4285 Payne Avenue #9154, San Jose, CA 95117, United States). The privacy policy details the role of each provider.

Points of contact

In accordance with the European Digital Services Act (DSA, articles 11 and 12), Cosmose designates two single points of contact. They work in French and in English.

For users
support@cosmose.app or “Write to us” in the app. A person reads and answers; replies are not solely automated.
For authorities
legal@cosmose.app: Member State authorities, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services, French judicial and administrative authorities.
For your personal data
privacy@cosmose.app. Cosmose has not designated a data protection officer.

To report content you believe to be illegal, use the “…” menu of the item in the app or, without an account, the Report content form. Reports involving a minor can also be sent directly to the PHAROS platform of the French Ministry of the Interior (internet-signalement.gouv.fr).

Intellectual property

The name Cosmose, the logo, the interface and the code of the service belong to the publisher or its licensors. Any reproduction or reuse beyond personal use of the service requires written permission. Content published by members remains theirs, under section 6 of the terms of use.

The register of French municipalities comes from INSEE’s official geographic code and the administrative boundaries published by Etalab, public data reused under the terms of their licence.
